You’re absolutely right on several points however from my experience (20 years) whenever stock is down like this people always b..tch at management and call it incompetent. It is hard if not impossible to figure out whether slide is caused by incompetence, manipulation (it exists to some point anyway) or just general market conditions. Look at NVA, I traded it, make few back, bailed out and never touched it when it dropped down to under 3, everyone then was bi..ing at incompetent management. Look at it now, 5 fold or so again. If you old enough and remember Corel, that was Masterpiece of manipulation, corruption, incompetence and deception of all time to me. Some people made a lot of money but as it is in stocks the money came out of other people pockets. # 2 I think was Stelco, the list go on and on, not to mention RIM. Nice to read your comments anyway, to have a different view on the table, never claimed to have a monopoly on successful investing, even after 20 years of trying, do not believe anyone have, only those who have that technology of “deception”. Ever heard of computer logarithmic investing, this thing alone and legal is naturally manipulation and it is used by all enfranchised guys. Derivatives is another natural means of manipulation, short selling e.t.c. I didn’t mention here illegal means of manipulation that add on top of legal, technology and numerous so called “products” (like derivatives) enhanced manipulation techniques.
