The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

RE:Dave ,we know you are a presold short participantolejos;  I know THE dave looks like a short, but he's even sicker than that..... he has no stake in PTA, but has been touting CNE as a takeover candidate (most often being taken out by Pacific Rubiales) so long that any news involving other companies' prospects strike the very fiber of his sorry existence.  If he can't cheerlead CNE to a $20 sale price, his life is over.  He screamed loud and clear while CNE went up to $8, but has received realistic reviews (as in  "shut the fuggup") since. Look at CNE's bullboard with -- and then without (ignore) -- the dave and you'll see what I mean.   He has polluted other sites for which I have a holding interest, but he always goes away when I hit the   IGNORE   button.   Thanks for your posts, olejos,   Popps
