Stockhouse Article Commentary
Not sure if it was stockhouse writer Perry or another that has been bullish on Transgaming for some time...but this article was decidely bearish-if not at times satircally critical in how it presented..for this was a tongue in cheek statement the author made...
"Select TV, so that the company can capitalize on the tourist market stuck in their rooms just itching to play a family-friendly game."
Sept 2014 Stockhouse editorial/commentary
...for the tourist market do not remain "stuck in their rooms" ithcing to play games as he put in his post-they are on vacation and less its a hurricane...a torrential downpour or some otherh inclimate event-they venture out regardless knowing they are on a borrowed time horizon and their tourist status ends quickly...so this ironic if not outright satirical editorial commentary in relation to that...really stuck out for me inparticular...and I am sure was not appreciated by Gupta and Transgaming Co.
I have remained with a free and clear position of shares-taking out my own money back in Jan 2014 at the halcyion rise in PPS on the Smart TV Panasonic and Toshiba announcements...and that free and clear share position remains open.
I have commented several times by mid to late 2015 I do not believe Transgaming as we know it will look anything like it does now or resemble itself for that matter as it does today for not only did Gupta see the sectoral shift coming and restructured its business operations accordingly...long term the sector has many players and remains somewhat fragmented and some wave of consolidation will be taking place...is taking place and will continue to feel ongoing pressure by the various players and service providers and offerings to continue going forward and my position has always been and remains...that Gupta will position Transgaming Inc accordingly for either being purchased at a premium or being a purchasor of others as an outside consideration-either way the company IMO will not exist as it has and does today in the same format in the near to mid term immediate future and what will emerge be it being bought out or merging with others...a stronger-more compelling yet relevant player of some significance and dominace within the sector-and positioned accordingly to participate in the sectors exponential projected growth in the years and decade to shortly come and upon us now.
And with that...a premium on the PPS at the time?
IMO will be attached to the benefit of shareholders IMO that paid next to nothing.
