RE:RE:Global Maxfin CaptialGMCI's estimates - like WiLAN's - are pretty conservative IMO. For Q2 they estimated $21.7 million and WiLAN came in at $25.7 million. WiLAN's guidance for Q2 was at $19.4 million - even lower than GMCI's. If WiLAN's estimate for Q3 is way-off as it was in Q2 then I would expect revenue to come in closer to $25 million again. Similarly, if history repeats itself then GMCi's estimates would also prove to be a low-ball number.
We have to wait until the end of the month to see what the actual numbers are, but based on Q2's numbers carried forward and the new / renewal signings that occurred in Q3, my educated guess would be a similar outcome as before. Lets hope thats the case, and WiLAN's share price responds accordingly as it did when they reported the Q2 numbers.
