RE:U.S. firm cancels plans for oil exploration in Arabuko foresWhile I am in favour of protecting the worlds delicate eco systems, I am having a hard time understanding why the Kenyian Government would include this area in an oil block lease if it is such a sensitive area. If we can't shoot seismic we will not do any drilling. So what now? Do we hand back the lease and get our money back for this lease. Might as well take the lease money, and what was allocated for seismic, and shoot seismic elsewhere. Not like our options are limited. Many plays to explore elsewhere.
