have 5300 cpg @36.93  since 5 yrs..on friday bought 1100 pwt @4.11 to have total 2444 pwt at average 18$.....first got pwt years ago at 39$..then got more for average of 29$..what you did seems reasonable..oil could slip more and stay  there for a bit..e.g. 1984 to 1999  when oil was under 25$..my oil stocks are in rrsp ..so no tax loss issues..jesse livermore...stock speculator from the 1920 s said sometimes it is best to just sit  until the dust settles and you get a clear feeling for what lies ahead....good hunting to all..
