October 2011 Sinopec bought Daylight Energy for $2.2 billion, they had 174 million boe proven and probable reserves at the end of 2010 which equates to $12.65 per boe.
At the time Beveridge valued Daylight's reserves at $16.70
Long Run at the end of 2013 had 97,683,000 gross boe and 85,249,000 net boe
Crocotta at the end of 2013 had 46,227,000 gross boe and 39,165,000 net boe
I don't know whether Daylights purchase was based on gross or net boe
Long Run's combined proven and probable reserves are 143,910,000 gross boe and 124,414,000 boe net at the end of 2013.
Based on $12.65 per boe on the gross reserves and 197 million shares, the same offer would value Long Run at $5.69/share and based on the net reserves $4.35
What are reserves valued at now compared to 2011?
