I think that under the present circumstances, the deal is a good one for both companies. Having been a former shareholder of SGL, and now a shareholder of EGL.UN, I see this as a win-win...
Since EGL.UN now owns 50% of the Dixonville field, I will not be surprised to see them, along with SGL putting new capital into the field once oil prices move back up. The Dixonville field is an idea field for Eagle Energy, although the Trust model no longer applies here...
