Special D

Special DInteresting that December came and went with no special div announcement. last year and (I believe) with less cash, the announced the SD on December 13. Begs the question, why was there none this year? Why are they retaining cash this time around? Only ideas I could think off are (in no particular order): 1. Because they didn't want to set future expectations (i.e., they just didn't feel like it); 2. They want to retain it for working capital; 3. They may be looking at an acquisition; 4. They become a more attractive takeover target; or 5. They will take the company private and need the money to buy back shares. Some of these may be a bit fanciful and I have surely forgotten some but I do note, most of these outcomes are positive. Cheers, Phil
