Bluestar,
Lenic's lack of full disclosure and reliance upon 'forward-looking statments'  are more than well documented but he no longer runs the company or even sits on the board.

Since you seem to understand that the Orion debt is $40 million it would be helpful if you can provide the board here how much AUN owes Orion each month?
How much cash is in their treasury ?
Are they attempting to bring down the monthly payments ? How ? What are the results to date?
What are the implemented and  future cost cutting measures and profitability enhancements that have yet to hit the financial bottom line?

As AUN have disclosed they are shooting for a $12.50 AISC number and with silver at a 30 day ma of $16.23 and 60 dma @ $16.44 and production near 4 million oz per year what is the profit per month?
$17 silver? $18 silver? The spot price was $20 four months ago. What is the monthly profit AUN has at that level?
As Orion are the largest shareholder it is hardly in their best interests that the company goes "bankrupt".
Can you tell the board the measures that Orion have implemented to allow AUN to fulfill their debt obligations  while Drover profitably restructures La Negra down to the $12.50 AISC level ?

TIA

all the questions you ask should be answered for the shareholders by the company. that is my point here, that the company witholds most of the facts from their shareholders. as for orion being the top shareholder,i suspect they will be dumping and probably have been for a while.their shares from the financing are released in 4 installments,i believe. if aun does go under, with their assets put up to secure the loan, orion would then own everything as secured creditors would be paid before shareholders. i could be wrong but it all seems to fit pretty nicely to what has taken place with this company the last few years. i don't think we have heard the last of lenic. if i am dead wrong and silver moves up soon then aun is a h#ll of a buy right now.funny thing is that other than wango,i have not heard one single person say they have been averaging down here. most days it trades only enough shares to buy a used car.funny for a stock that people on the bb defend so strongly. to each their own. glta.
