RE: Chinese Participation in Any Take-Out, EtcAs previously stated, as U is a strategic mineral, I don't see a 100% purchase by any foreign entity.
Historically FIRA would allow participation with Canadian company(s) controlling the majority. Thus while the Chinese may have raised $3 billion recently, only time will tell how much will be invested in Canada.
Thus I suspect a combo of say Rio, Cameco, Denison, etc. They c/would be looking ( with a 20 - 50 year outlook) to keep any new players out of the Athabasca basin. Conversely, with the OP inflection typically at 400m, this will bring the Open Pit miners into the picture, then going UG via a pit wall access/ramp. Thus the OP option may attract many more potential bidders. e.g. gold miners, oil sand miners, mega quarry operators, etc.
Does mutual & hedge funds have a $1.00 limit? For those that do, starting Monday those that appeared to be shaking the tree (appeared to be a run on stops) on Thu & Fri may be in full load-up mode.
