Dream vs Reality… is it gambling?
Dream vs Reality… is it gambling?Everyone wants a website to guide them through all the knowns and unknowns about investing. That’s why we have all those companies out there that are willing to take your money. Like investment funds and banks. Even Stockhouse is guilty of not supplying a platform of informative investing verses anyone who has an account.
There are many books dedicated to investing. There are lots of “know it all bloggers” to attest this. Who cares what stock you are long or short against… really. The fact that people on Stockhouse brag about how much they shorted or how much they made is just complete nonsense. Everyone here knows that even CNBC is biased and in the same breathe they will say they are not! Who cares… really!
Some investors are right on their calls… but they are also wrong one for every two others – that’s if you are good. Gamblers can also make the right calls. As we must understand…investing is not gambling. Gambling is gambling and there are many ways to define that.
Long or short who cares in the end. THE CHARTS ARE ONLY FOR GUIDES BECAUSE NEWS EITHER WAY WILL ALWAYS TRUMP CHARTS. Just look at the effect political policies have affected the global economy. The US can’t raise their rates because of Europe. Also… Everyone here knows that the most successful phone in China is the apple I phone facsimile sold for cash at half the price - aftermarket. So… there will be a point where apple will be a great short. Not now though.
BTW the deeper picture is a currency war. That’s the modern war that involves energy stocks just like a classic war did.
