According to the self appointed Stock guru Ocean112, he shorted 10000 shares today and made $600 bucks, 10000 @ 6 cents each, $1.35 down to $1.29. Smart feller...
But he omitted to include his losses today on his long position. Since he has 100,000 shares and the price dropped 17 cents each, he lost $17000 bucks on his long position. But his overall loss was only; 17000 -600 = $16,400...
Sometimes you just have to forget the noise...
Too funny...

Ahhh Kherson - it's been fun trading barbs with you as an exception - but as a rule - I must put you back on ignore.  I think the fellow members of your Grade 8 investment club would be a better fit for you than trying to talk with adults.  I do wish you all the success as you enter high school and decide your future as an investor.  Perhaps you might benefit from a business degree should you qualify for university in 5 years - although study hard - i'm told the bar has been set really high.  I might suggest you would be better off getting off this board and studing more than "faking it till you make it" - if you know what I mean.  University might provide you a foundation for critical thinking and analysis that clearly is missing from this board despite myself and others asking you to back up your statements. Do you still know the meaning of enterprise value?   Of course not - thats likely covered in a grade 12 curriculum  - so you have a few years to go before you can answer the question.  Hang in there young man - you have a bright future. Just learn to take criticism once in a while and you'll be fine. Good luck.
