COS

COS
I am a long term investor and not a short seller. I think this report says COS has some room to maneuver on its finances. They may have to weather a few more quarters of low oil prices. That report says they will be OK for a year or two but cannot continue indefinitely. If you think their assumptions of an average price of US$55 oil price for 2015 is too optimistic then I would recommend fleeing for the exits. Barring a collapse in world economies, I expect oil supply/consumption to come into balance sometime around Q3 of 2015. That will force prices back up. At that point the banks will not be as willing to lend money to overleveraged producers so I do not see most of these shelved projects coming on line soon after that. That will throw the balance out the other way( shortage of oil) creating a bit of a price spike. That is what I am betting on so I will probably be a buyer of COS but not necessarily tomorrow. Bob
