The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

RE:1 million shares on the ASK

RE:1 million shares on the ASKI understood that PTA had a share buy back program in place.....did the authorization period end? If so, I would be tempted to start it up again to take this seller(s) out. Investors get frustrated when a stock should be trading higher based on the fundamentals, but constantly trades lower. Frustration leads to selling, and that's not good. If suitors are interested in PTA it would be better to get the price up now in order to get a higher premium.  Even if there are no suitors, get the price up and drive up the demand. Just my 2 cents.
