RE:When the Fed raises interest rates gold will drop further
I value all opinions because I believe in never stopping to learn. With all current events such as the Mideast crisis, Iran and nukes, Ukraine and Russian sanctions, world debt increasing while world GDP decreasing and I could go on but you get the message. What about a black swan or oil derivitives? The world is in a deflationary environment and the Fed wants to raise rates? That kills their 2% inflation. I value your opinion but discount it because when interests rates were at 4%, gold was in rally mode. I have over 30 years in the markets and can`t predict what`s going to happen in 12 minutes never mind 12 days.
To get rid of the deflation problem after the crash of 1929 the Fed. confiscated gold and then revalued it from $20.00 to $37.00 per ounce overnight. Funny thing about history. It tends to repeat. Best of continued success to you.
