RE:RE:... better off sacking management ??Toronto, December 6, 2012 APPOINTMENT OF INVESTOR RELATIONS CONSULTANTS Probe Mines is pleased to announce that it has retained the services of Proconsul Capital Ltd. ("Proconsul") and Renmark Financial Communications ("Renmark") to provide investor relations services. Probe Mines Share Price Dec/12 ~$2.00 GCU Share Price Dec/12 ~$1.00 That said, what took GCU so long for them to realize that they needed help, and had to get Renmark (anybody?). At a monthly rate of $5,500, that's peanuts compared to what some shareholder's have gone through with GCU. I agree 20/20/12: "better off sacking management??" I call this news release a 'cut and paste' job!! Two thoughts about the share accumulation between Dec/14 and Jan/15 are: a) whoever is accumulating may be a company planning a takeover (I doubt it), or b) whoever is accumulating could be using their shares as a 'dump management vote' come GCU's 2015 Annual Meeting (that would make more sense). Previous Annual Meeting Dates: 2011 April 13 2012 April 24 2013 May 7 2014 April 15 2015 ?????? Cat9tailings said: "For those who know the history and the back story I think you would agree this is a sign that someone onboard is trying to get this ship righted. Seems like a small thing, but it's an important role". That said Cat9tailings (about the Springpole gold project): history I do know it back story I do know it agree I don't agree with you. Who is the someone?? important role you betcha Cat9tailings, it's obvious that you haven't been with GCU (as a shareholder) for very long. Shucks, at the 2014 Annual Meeting, they voted in 3 new members, and not one of them are involved in the mining business. Quinton Hennigh has done a great job, in holding the fort!! Thank you very much Quinton. I started off with Probe Mines earlier, at the Intro, because to me, this is how Gold Canyon Resources, as a junior mining (gold) company, should also have operated (but they didn't). Lastly, who is the controlling shareholder of Gold Canyon Resources?? In the March 11/2015 news release, "Commented Akiko Levinson, President, CEO and director of Gold Canyon. "Although the downturn in the mining sector has been sharp, we have the means to keep weathering this storm and be able to look at various options we may have to move forward". Probe Mines obviously not only weathered this storm, but they've moved forward (in 5 years, from acquiring their Borden Lake property, to selling their Borden Lake gold property to Goldcorp). I think LakeShore Gold (LSG), and many other junior gold companies, were going through this same 'storm' as Akiko Levinson was!! Cat9tailings: do a little more DD (go back 5 years) on the current management of GCU! I'll help you a bit.
