Doing my DD here
Doing my DD hereThere seems to be alot of ad nauseum posting and re hashing of the same info by about a handful of posters. Why not chill and take a break from the incessant pumping and let others have the pulpit. There is a cult like following here by these posters and a little balance is needed here. So I thought I'd let the uninformed about a few little known facts.
First of all Charles Brink role is not clearly defined. Where is the company located? It seems like Colorado is the US base of operations. Nice if Mr Brink lives there but if you google his name he is running as a school board candidate in his native Florida. Red flag to me cus I like to see management in one central location not spread out all over the place. Second point is every one talks about Mona Vie success and accept it as Gospel Truth. If you research Mona Vie according to a Forbes article it resembled a pyramid scheme. it was a simple MLM scheme and less than 1 % of distributors actually made money. As for all the health benefits of Mona Vie, a Mens Fitness study showed it had less nutritional value than a serving of apple juice. Brink left Mona Vie in 2007 and the Company had alot of lawsuits associated with false advertising. in addition, they were sued by Oprah and Dr. Oz because some distributors said they endorsed the products and they didnt. The red flag here is that hemp is controversial and if these guys rely on "cowboy" distributors they will be crushed by bona fide competitors with impeccable track records such as Manitoba Harvest. Manitoba Harvest has been in this for 15 years. NSP is a johnny come lately and no one trusts newcomers to a " hot " industry, especially on this Exchange.
Second point the " news" of David Racz involvement is not NEWS ' its a re-hash as well. David Racz was on the management team of FSL over 5 years ago so this is a re hash of news as well.
As for the Maple Leaf executive to the Advisory Panel remember its only a PANEL. There are a ton of companies in challenging industries now such as mining, metals, gold andautomotive that have bright minds on their panels too but they are in dire straits. A PANEL MEMBERSHIP not be construed to be hands on management.
As for Naturally Splended the organizational sctructure has too much vagueness. Shareholders do not know what the revenue sharing deal is with Naturally Splendid ( your share ownership ) with the divisions. It is not defined to any exact detail. The Venture Exchange is full of companies with managements that run the companies like personal piggy banks, they do this via the infamouis "Selling, General and Administrative Expenses". Entire PP money can be used to pay salaries to key people with zero funds allocation to a business plan execution and it happens all the time.
Why does a Company with limited assets have to have a lab in Ireland, a lab in BC ,a President in Florida, a USA division head in Colorado and a team in Vancouver. I see alot of cash wasted. Why is that ? Is this an elaborate way to blur accountability in multiple jurisdictions? I am not sure but I see it as a red flag.
Do your own due diligence. Cheerleading belongs on the sidelines in professional sports so lets leave it there. I have sent emails to the Company with "hard" questions. Not one has been sent back to me. Does IR answer the cheerleaders and not respond to the tough questions. Lets see if the Company responds with a news release to clarify some of my points. Is this bogus ? No I dont believe it is. But the secret to find the gems from the dried up gum on the pavement is by proper DD.
