RE:First A320s now near end of their service

The crash sight is over many miles and very small pieces, makes one wonder when it broke up,likely inflight.
Cycles are the big issue for aircraft and the short haul, hub and spoke system now in place makes many 1hr or less segments. It also makes for steeper climbs and steeper descents causing more stress on the aircraft and also more time in turbulant low altitude conditions.
