yellow diamonds.

yellow diamonds.Let's bring up the yellow diamond argument.

Obviously, they are not the preferred colour and colourless would be best.

It has been mentioned on this forum that they are urine coloured diamonds.

When it reality they should be called urine's coloured diamonds...as in the urine colour in itself is not the same from diamond to diamond.

This is the public statement:

"The parcel contained a number of yellow diamonds. None of these were fancy yellow, but the depth of colour indicates that fancy yellow diamonds may be found in a production scenario."

Rather then focusing on the last part, (production scenario), the focus should be on the fact that there is a depth of colour within the yellow (ie. Urine) coloured stones.

I don't believe this fact has been highlighted before...the 'urine colour' has been stamped as single, solitary...when in reality, it is far from that.

With the new bulk sample coming up, we may not see a fancy yellow yet, but look for whether the yellow's again are variable throughout CH-6.

No idea what the other 2 kimberlites hold....I expect we will see CH-7 gems first.

LONG...PGD
