Technicals vs. How NPH Trades
Ignoring the attention seeking nutbars that come out when a stock is experiencing high volume and a volatile share price, there has been some interesting comments on the direction of the share price.
Before I am accused of insert-trading-style-here, I flip stocks. NPH has been and currently is a stock I am flipping, long.
Looking at the stochastics and bollys, the stock does not appear oversold to me and seems to have some more room to move upward. Whether or not the price is sustained has yet to be seen but it appears, to me, that it will pull into the mid to upper .30's again. The charts though, are not the whole picture. As I am sure many others have noticed, individual stocks have a unique 'trading style' for lack of a better phrase. NPH, when active, tends to open hard and then retreat and remain fairly quiet volume-wise. Then it runs quickly again. It's this trading style that I have worked throughout an active trading day. Yes, I check charts. I am not buying into something that looks oversold to me in the hopes that it goes off the chart (it can, it does). Others on this board are watching this stocks charts and, factoring in Monday's possible flood, what are your thoughts for the open on Monday.
