If the deals goes bust, what is the downside?

If the deals goes bust, what is the downside? With the sale price of 80 cents we are still  hovering in the 50 cents area. Most recent purchases I assume were made to averaged down or for a big pay day. If MW cannot secure the funds and backs out. How will the market react? I imagine a sell off will happen, would it be correct to assume the stock price will drop, mostly based on sentiments rather than technical valuation - I remember reading articles that said  80 cents was a discount based on fair valuation.

BUT, when I reviewed how themarket reacted to the past deal with Westfield Exploration I noticed the stock price did not drop. It hovered around the  traded price and later increased.

How are you assessing the downside/risk when purchasing MMT stocks?

Thanks
