any company struggling to show profits wouldn't likely be on an acquisition hunt and paying a premium for smaller pieces. You'll notice that most of the time companies pay through the nose for peers such as what's been going on in the health care sector. Almost always these acquisitions are done at market highs because the acquirer stock is highly valued also. Even though there are some good junior opportunities that should be taken out, i doubt they will be. more likely is a couple or few smaller companies get together to form a medium size company to prepare for better conditions down the road. I could do all the longs a favor and sell my LSG. Guaranteed pop with my luck!
