there are 430 million shares outstanding, I don't hink they "the shorters" will have any trouble finding shares to buy if they need them?
plus given the rise in oil prices why haven't he shorts srambles to cover more shares and faster then the current rate?

Shorters have large positions that play on the sell side to create walls and downward ticks/momentum... they sponge up buying pressure on good days and create downward movement any time they can. Watch l2 market by order for a couple weeks. A day will come when a big buyer or fund like CLO feels like adding .. it'll reach a tipping point where your short sale games shaking out shares to cover won't work anymore. You can't hold it down forever. I suspect a lot of money is trading all the high debt, poorly leveraged companies that fell -70% and once those bounces are played out, ATH becomes more attractive for longer term positions.
