You probably noticed a short piece in Forbes ("Next billion dolar start-ups") on "Raise", a marketplace for trading unused gift cards with an estimated $500 milion valuation, but they have revenues - $100 million just 14 months after it was founded in February 2013.

Apparently 20% of card dollars go unspent in the US, Raise collects 15% of any sale.

Maybe Ackroo can get into this line of business too?
