EGA is located in Southern BC. From what I can see it was an operating mine but then went dormant with the bottoming of prices. The parts of the story I like are:
Has all the permitting and environmental approvals in place
The deposit is sand based so easy to access and environmentally benign
Have options to increase their land base substantially
On the grid, so no need for diesel generators
Like all graphite mines I see the giga factory as the impetuus for stock price growth. This mine seems to check most of the boxes tesla and Panasonic will be looking for. Risky, but being an operating mine with a plant in place, it seems to be ahead of the others
