My AFI rant
It seems AFI is gaining strength and losing strength at the same time. Whenever they move forward, somebodys article pushes them back (although who knows maybe its just mood of the day movements). But NB certainly isn't your typical CEO. The fact that their original logo/slogan replicated Apple seems way overconfident, I guess they realized that and got rid of the strawberry bite. I admit I had doubts, but that has long since passed. NB seems to know what he's talking about, and I like how he actually responds to everyone on Twitter (fyi he's gained about 12 followers in the last month. Is it due to CD release or Cannafest promotions? doesn't matter, It means more attention to AFI and always will be for as long as the band plays). He looks like Tom Cruise in his Twitter profile pic.
Onto other matters, the key for us all:
Justin Trudeau is gaining popularity. Everyone's sick of Harper. This is why pot stocks have been stuck for the last few months. If Trudeau is elected there's a good chance pot will be legalized. This means marijuana stocks won't just be an internet bubble, we could be the new tech boom. And being that AFI is part tech, horticulture, and agriculture, you can see why AFI is so excited. But there likely won't be any major pot movement for a few months. I say sit back and stock up. All AFI needs is a little time and a few deals.
Summary: Pot stocks had a mini-boom, the dust has cleared. We can see forward again. It looks good, but there's uncertainty.
AFI is already among the top recognizable stocks in the grass game, and NB's rockstar personality knows how to play to the crowd.
Keep it up Nick! Just don't showboat!
In conclusion: STOP HARPER, GO TRUDEAU
