Dual structure companies

Dual structure companiesKevin O'Leary was on BNN this afternoon and said that he would never buy dual structure companies ( he was mostly referring to Bombardier ) . He basically said it was not smart to buy companies in which you have no vote because you have no way of keeping the management accountable . The CEO of Valiant was on BNN yesterday and all he talked about was creating shareholder value and paying back the shareholders . I don't recall the Torstar management even acknowledging the Torstar "B " holders . It's a good thing that I don't really think much of the opinion of Mr. O'Leary . In spite of the negatives , I have to keep remembering the positives of Torstar - A dividend currently over a 10% yield , I think they should have about $270 million in cash , they have no debt and they are still profitable ( other than major write offs which I expect this quarter ) . I will probably add a little more to my position next week . It can't go down every day - Can It ?
