I would have preferred a complete takeover & there's a chance this option in still in the picture - hence, the visit to Hong Kong.
Though the debt would come along with the purchase but if capital can be raised to pay this debt, then a new company can direct funds necessary to cover & growth & consider a sp for the new company & have the ability to go to market to raise capital with a new beginning. IMHO.
Under the present scenario relative speaking - things remain the same except for share dilution & ownership percentages. I have a hard time understanding the advantage MIE sees in this deal as just a major shareholder but I do agree the present deal should see an increase in sp.
How much above 1.30/share & when remains to be seen. We're talking around the 200 mil investment & payback. I also agree, I can only see LRE as a growth company under this situation of share dilution & limited market reaction based on LRE assets & debt.
