Layoffs - Rich payoutsI know there are 3 to 400 to go at least but the next thing that happens is the oil companies get so generous with their packages. Legally you need to give 2 months of pay if an employee has been with the company for greater than 10 years. It goes down from there with less service.
Maybe it will change but typically the payouts have been much more rich than this. A month pay for every year etc. etc. has been something that I have heard. I get it if you are just getting rid of some dead weight but in this case the layoffs are legit and so the payouts should be reasonable.
Guess I am tired of shareholder always getting the shaft.
