Successful PBI-4050 Pre-IND Meeting for IPF news
This is good news by for me and here is why, in the release they specifically say “The two drugs commercially available to treat IPF have been shown in clinical trials to slow the progression of the disease, but not to reverse it”
My hope and opinion is the new human clinical studies will show that not only does PBI-4050 slow the progression of IPF but more importantly reverses it.
In my opinion if the reversing is proven then PBI-4050 will be naturally the superior drug for IPF.
If the above becomes fact the possibility for reversing the fibrosis disease in other organs such as the Kidneys, Heart and Liver will be a strong possibility also.
