RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Customer flights and flight hours with AFIRS on boardYes, you are correct.
We are not privy to the nuances and pricing of each contract with individual airlines - there are data transmission rates (probably by the kilobyte) for transmitting over the Irridium network which will be priced into the rates that Flyht charges.
What we do have are 2 key pieces of information:
1) We know the total flight hours with AFIRS in use (odometer on flyht.com)
2) We know the total recurring/usage revenue from their financial statements
Assuming that both are correct, we can just calculate the hourly revenue rate which we can then use to project their recurring revenues for the current quarter.
So, using CF105's numbers, there were 79,994 flight hours with AFIRS in use for Q3. As for the Rate, the Q2 rate was $11.XX and the Q1 rate was $14.XX which would give us a range of $880,000-$1,120,000 in recurring revenue in Q3.
Whether the airlines actually pay by the hour is not really relevant for this purpose but we have to assume that the reported dollars and hours are accurate.
Essentially, what I'm trying to say is that its the calculated rate that is important. We as investors will want to see that number holding steady or increasing.
