IMO it is hard to see anything good in the gold sector other than a short on producers but even that play is probably dicey given some of the producers like AEM are likely to surprise to the upside -- I expect AEM will easily exceed target production numbers (~400K per quarter) and get an exceed credit (Q3 is typically than Q2 for AEM probably because of norther summer) from the market. Not clear if AEM production costs are going to do better though -- accumulated deficit just keeps on growing... And gold is still in a down trend so its hard to play.
