Stock option, Private placement, Warrant, founder's share
Stock option -- granted to company employees. Needs time to access, the price is the closing price of join date
Private placement -- It is the money company get from investment bank, in exchange, it issues certain amount of new shares to the investment bank at an agreed price. After certain amount of lock time(half year or a few months), it will become available to trade.
Warrant -- similiar to stock option but it is issued to investment bank at a higher price than the agree private placement. It has a locked time after purchased.
Founder's share -- it is issue to the founders by company. They have a much longer lock time(depends on the term). Bedrocan used to have very bad share structure, its founder were holding millions of shares with no obvious reason or contribution.(Goldman held 9.5M shares for what?).
