RE:CGC would dominate oil sales due to way of extraction: SCEHealthCanada wrote: The news today about CGC applying to produce marijuana oil is exciting, but more exciting its the way of processing. Super Critical Extraction!!! :) CGC
To people that haven't done biomass extractions( I am a chem lab tech in R&D) , SCE is a way to extract using high pressure carbon dioxide that basically extracts THC/ derivatives and CBD,N,etc with very high purity 98%> and the quality is superior than the competors since the terpenes( familty of molecules that givemj have different smells like limon, pine) are extracted solventless therefore it RETAINS the taste/smell in the oil.
Other mj companies are using solvent based extraction( LESS purity, extraction of undesirables components like chllorphyll, etc, waxes, MORE EXPENSIVE)
CO^2 Super Critical Extractor is the best way to extract oils due to it solventless, superior efficiency and high quality oils at a lower cost, !
CGC has all my support, even though im on a loss recently. It can only go up!
Please give me a break. Extracting oil from seed is Super Critical?
Man, are you cooking everyday? This is the kind of hype we would get rid of from this forum.
Mettrum has been doing it since Sept. But they are still on Hemp, not Cannabis.

Why this is such a big deal for cgc? Is this the company culture of cgc to overblow every small step into a big achievement ballon?
Show me the sales number, would you?
