RE:RE:cleaned off debtI would not pay off debt. Market wants to see growth. BCE showing growth by buying HBO in western Canada. Shaw should say deploying this money for growth that can earn more than 7 times ebitda which is what they sold business for. Paying off 4 percent debt is not wise. If that is what they decide to do with money stock price will continue to get punished. Just like torstar paying off cheap debt so you are debt free shows lack of imagination. Corporations accept debt to generate future cash flows that fuel growth at greater yield than debt. I am actually out of this stock for last few weeks as downward trend has continued and high dividend yield is not providing a bottom. Also tax loss selling will accelerate. Hoping they announce a big deal for 211 million and do not pay off debt. Balance sheet and cash flows can handle this level of debt.
