My take is it's best to strike when the iron is hot, pay taxes on profit, rather than hold and risk losses. I'm speaking from experience with SLC. When I purchased this stock I had realized a profit of 58% within the first week. Had I sold, even paying 50% tax, my net profit would have been 29%.

Instead I held and now I'm looking at a loss of 75% of  my initial investment. At the rate SLC is performing it wouldn't surprise me if I incur further losses.

The costly lesson I've learned is that with penny ventures stocks one has to take profits while they exist. I'm beginning to believe that with SLC hoping for a turn-around in the near future is just a pipe dream.
