FAN adds NY Islanders, Carolina Hurricanes 5050 Central Inks Agreements With the New York Islanders and Carolina Hurricanes
TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - December 04, 2015) - 5050 Central Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gaming Nation Inc. (TSX VENTURE: FAN), is pleased to announce that the company has reached agreements with the New York Islanders and the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and their respective foundations.
Each partnership will see both teams utilize 5050 Central's industry leading real-time 50/50 raffle system. Proceeds from the Islanders raffles at the Barclays Center will support the Islanders Children's Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting the youth of the local community by providing opportunities to children. The Kids 'N Community Foundation, a Raleigh area non-profit foundation that offers programming assistance and financial funds to assist local area youth organizations, will benefit from the proceeds of raffles during Hurricanes games and related events at PNC Arena.
Fans can purchase tickets through fixed touch-screen terminals and mobile devices providing faster transaction times, longer selling periods, accountability and substantial increases in average raffle proceeds. Fans who participate not only help support great local charitable causes but add a new level of excitement to every game experience.
Scott Secord, President/CEO of Gaming Nation stated, "We are excited to work with two more NHL franchises and their related foundations. We are confident the results of the 50/50 raffles will exceed expectations and these fundraising efforts will assist both foundations in their charitable giving initiatives."
