When you hear reports from Davis this week that the billionaires Soros Rogers and others are short S&P and what they are saying markets look set up to correct. Fed rate hike in December was a bluff to improve sentiment and make people think everything is fine but EU market is bigger than US and the contagion will spread. Only reason I see for corus to do this now is they have very long term view and don't care. Shaw has been in this business forever. However hurts other shareholders. New York Stock Exchange had zero IPOs in January. Just like selling a house you need to time these things when there is positivity in the markets. I am staying in cash for awhile. Did do little shorting of oil stocks Friday on latest two day surge which looks like short covering to me.
