 As much as I hate to bust your feeling of brillance , you are missing the sentiment 

People do not think the deal will not close because it is too low, PEOPLE do not believe the offer is real , they do not believe the money will be raised 

Some speculate that it is a con they have ran before , load up and dump into "offers"
