RE:RE:RE:RE:Exploration InsightsMy guess is that Cook just made a well-educated guess as to the nature of the deposit based on what was known at the time, and finds no compelling reason to reassess his opinion now. Because reasonable doubt will remain in the minds of some geologists and investors until the mine is well into production, it may be he just finds it premature to admit he was wrong, and has simply moved on to other opportunities. (Or maybe a fairer way to put it would be: Right conclusion, wrong methodology.)
It's possible he was also (justifiably) irked by the way the whole Farq-up fiasco was handled, and doesn't want to revisit the controversy if PVG is off his radar now.
In any case, I don't realy care what he thinks at this point if he can't offer anything new one way or the other to the investment thesis. A lot of other geologists and institutional investors didn't share his reservations, at least not after the bulk sample analysis. Enough to satisfy me anyway.
