Exit LSG

Exit LSGI have sold my LSG holdings:-
  • My investment criteria was for a low cost gold producer with growth in Canada.
  • As a result of the volatilty experienced in silver shares in recent years, my silver investment was switched to bullion, via Goldmoney.co. However, I now find that, with the THO take over, I am too exposed to silver.
  • There is already risk in mining shares, but to add geopolitical risk in Central / South America with THO, seems to be unacceptable.
  • My LSG purchase was at $118 Canadian in 2015 H2 and therefore I am leaving with a profit, but i would have preferred to continue my investment in LSG assets only.
Similar to other members on this board, I am considering Kirkland Lake as an alternative.
I make split my re-investment with another low cost producer, Klondex. This stock seems to be of interest since it is also a low cost hold miner and it has recently purchased the Rice Lake (formerly San Gold) gold mine in Manitoba.  KDX has a cap similar to LSG before the THO offer.
