Hi EPA has some new rules under the Clean Water ACT..they included levels of water purity. This act inculded rivers and other water bodies. AK Senate and House will have to fit these new rules into Senate Bill 163 and House Bill 268. Is this an attempt to slow down the Palmer Project...think so,
Are there many greenies in Haines . yes.. but from how do we recycle, conserve, grow our economy
to those that there will no new enterprise at any cost. I do not think the Chilkat River will become a Tier 3 River. It is not listed in AK wild and scenic river list.. and many more requirements to come from DEC. CP
