RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Did CXR hit a home run with The purchase of AMCo?

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Did CXR hit a home run with The purchase of AMCo?YouLose - Given your aggressive investment style you should know better than most of us on the board the short term risks of any given stock and the market in general. It was super bad timing and bad luck unfortunately. We are all feeling the pain to some degree, but I hope to hold this longer term and make a substantial profit after they prove the AMCo acquisition was a great move and put all the doubters to rest. How you go forward from here is something you should consider carefully. It seems like a great price point to double down if you can manage any further risks. I am already well overweight this name so buying more may not be my best move. Certainly, an awesome entry price for those who are not already in. Longer term, say 3 to 5 years, I see CXR doing extremely well, if they are not taken out prematurely. Good luck. Adam

YouLose wrote: What makes you think I am short? I am long. I bought into CXR with a combination of options (bought calls, sold puts) and shares on margin at the very beginning of this year. Given leveraged nature of my position when CXR dropped I lose a lot of it (most of it).I still hold some CXR shares, what's the point of selling them at this point? I hope posters on here are right and it goes to 100, but that wouldn't get me close to even unless I doubled down big time (more like 10x down what is that called?). Also, I just don't think it's going to happen. I entered into my position partly because of comments on this board. Comments from the likes of Marcel7, Sunshine7, and Stockcoach. I figured this stock was can't miss. And then it did. Big time. Then I started looking back and realized I should have listened to notwrong all along. He was trying to warn me and others like me and I didn't listen! If I had listened to notwrong I would have saved enough for a decent sized house here in Ottawa, instead I am left with a very large tax loss. Notwrong was right, those names and others but those are the main ones, they just want to pump the stock, and not tell anyone it might go down as well. How's that for honesty!
