RE:Bombardier: Looking back...or looking forward?Acuras1 wrote: Without getting too excited about near term share price, the biggest weaknest with the bashers is their continued look backward at previous management's behavior and actions.
Many crucial and important steps forward have been achieved of late and it's not the Canadian federal government who will save Bombardier.
I will argue that new management has already done that i.e. saved Bombardier from imploding financially. The company's got great products and Bellemare's new team is credible. These two very important factors combined with the Caisse's financial expertise and deep pockets, translates to a much brighter future than only 8-9 months ago.
All this excellent work combined with recent certification translate to a whole new outlook for the company. Don't get too exited, there remains a lot of work to be done, but I'd say the heavy lifting has now been done!
Forget the bashers, they are driving this whole thing by looking into the rear view mirror - the easy, clean in and out successful shorting is going to get a lot more difficult from now on.
PS: about that reverse split......the board approved it as a back-up plan, it may well not be required anymore as the game has changed!
Hi Acuras, Can you please confirm the reverse split is not an action item for shareholders of bbd.b. Seems that i heard that there will be a vote on it, at the last shareholder meeting. I agree with the majority of your statements, however you are leaving out a bit on the spinoffs. Can you give me your opinion on them either by pm or replying.
