RE:federal aid

RE:federal aid
tinou wrote: federail aid means that the feds may help BBD but also that BBD can help the feds.  Why does it take so long to study the BBD business case?  The feds are full of smart people to do analysis.  Unless you are negotiating something, not analyzing.  May be with the Quebec government, not BBD.  Support the East-West pipeline (a win for Trudeau in the West) and we will support BBD (a win for Trudeau in the East/ Ontario and Qubec).

This is a WIN/WIN.

Win/Win means that it is in the best interest for all canadians. While im sure this money will flow, I also think that it is going to cause a great deal of hostility. While Trudeau is from Quebec he surely understands this.

A semi private company should never receive public funds in this extent. It is an important sector, so as a canadian I understand this. But government never was good at investments and the lack of transparency to any of the other "Investments" or paybacks ensures that I for one will be extremely cautious.

The question that you need to ask yourself is "Is this investment in the best interest of Investors", the amounts the governments have put in respectivly is peanuts to the market. The spinoffs really suck and requires payback. But no full return. See paragraph 2.

While im not shorting, i wont add until the reverse occurs. I will protect my investment by doing this. IMO, I will repost this once again in a few months. And many will ignore me because you didnt take good advice while you could.
