RE:Toronto

RE:TorontoGlad that you like Toronto......'Tis a great city, but too much congestion...read traffic for me......now to answer your question......Yes, Fortis (FTS) is a great pick, Emera (EMA) another one well worth looking at, along with Enercare (ECI). All three companies are growing via acquisition. Do your homework or D.D. and decide for yourself....I'm age 65, so I am looking for solid growth along with sustainable dividends that I can bank on. Oh, Enbridge (ENB) provides natural gas to almost the entire greater Toronto area with well over a million customers and growing. If you are looking for a great utility that also has both Canadian (Union Gas) and U.S. assets, then have a look at Spectra Energy (SE on the NYSE)..Disclosure, I hold FTS, ENB, EMA, and ECI, but not SE at the present time as I would not get the dividend tax credit on a U.S. based dividend. Hope this helps. Best to all...........SHUMBA
