New York spot gold slumped $15.10 to $1,235.00 on Monday

Hmmm. Still no mention of BGM in any of the mainstream financial press (infomercials don't count), even though there was a 908,500-share Liquidnet-to-Liquidnet cross at 14:20:47 @ 52.5 cents.

No buys by Liquidnet in 2015 or 2016, so I'd guess that this is either PP paper coming into the market at 2.5 cents above the strike price, or else repositioning of the deckchairs on the Atlantic (you know...paper-for-debt paper being dumped to create some cash flow)?
