RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:timcalResidential rates for electricity are meaningless when we are talking about industrial applications, and so is quoting prices that do not include delivery. In Ontario it is not unusual for delivery cost and other fees to cost more than the electricity itself, I am not sure what the delivery cost is in Alabama and don't have time to figure it out but I am hoping/guessing that it is cheaper because infrastructure like power lines should be cheaper to install maintain down there. The price below does not include delivery, I will try to find out what delivery costs are down they even charge for it.

Also your price of 80 cents/kwh may have been accurate years ago but new contracts over 100kwh only pay 31.6cents/kwh
