RE:RE:RE:good to greatHi Agentia77, my comment in reference to Buffet was meant to be a sarcastic one with meaning under the surface .. but I can see many on this board only took in on a literal level. Buffet, as many know, for years complained about corporate big wigs using jets and as a result, he was widely criticized when he end up buying one. Hence, why he named it "The indefensible" - he admitted he really couldn't "defend" his decision after being so vocal about it in previous years.
Just thought the board would get the humor in the message here I was trying to make.... my mistake!!!! I was not making a judgement whether the company should or should not have one. In fact, if you go to my original post I think that there is a bigger question to be asked and one that wasn't even commented on (the value of executives time when travelling) and I am interested in your comments on that post of mine. Cheers :)

The only person who ever said that isYOU! People who make up stories have no credibility.
"In 1989, after spending nearly $6.7 million of Berkshire's funds on a private jet, Buffett named it "The Indefensible". This act was a break from his past condemnation of extravagant purchases by other CEOs and his history of using more public transportation.[94]
